I started "In The Hole Putter" as a hobby in June 1999. I helped an old friend here in South Carolina. I enjoyed the work and learning about club making. I was learning how to do fittings and building custom golf clubs. Working hands on learning how to use all the tools. My first love is building belly putters. I love making a perfect belly putter, or a long chest putter for a person who can no longer use the standard putter. Many folks have back problems and need this service. I use the finest quality components putter heads, iron and driver heads, quality steel and graphite shafts and grips. I do belly putter lengths to the 1/2 inch, add weights, work on a perfect lie and shaft offset. This gives me a custom made putter - belly putter or titanium driver. A belly build or a golf club such as iron, or driver made in our custom shop is better than a store club from the shelf.. The art comes in when you do the fitting and the building to help a person improve their game. It is an great when you solve a problem for a buyer I make you a club using the proper tools and technology and you know that custom built and fit for you. Some manufactures do not offer this Ping, Callaway and others do offer this service.
